I currently live in South Australia, making my timezone AEST.
*Please describe your previous experience in Minecraft.
I first heard of minecraft when I was in year 5, and the whole idea of a non-linear sandbox game where you literally make your own adventure appealed to me in such a way, it became the first game that I bought online. Shortly after buying it I found a server called "Shinycraft" and was quickly promoted to moderator status after the servers current owner saw "How responsible I was when dealing with serious matters regarding the server, its problems, and queries with other players; as well as not hesitating to redirect players to read the rules or to a more experienced player when I could not help them." During my time as a moderator on that server, the old owner lost interest and made me a sort of *Deputy Owner* meaning I had all the same permissions as he did, but I could not actually modify the server of my own accord. The result of this was the server constantly being modified with new and faulty plugins, and there was no actual owner on for me to consult. Eventually, one of the owners neighbours(?) joined and the owner automatically made him the new owner. This new owner treated everyone who asked him something with contempt, even animosity at times, and I was soon demoted after trying to get him to step up to the role of being a responsible server owner. I found that this server had become something completely different to what it was when I first joined; everything seemed foreign to me, so I did what any sane person would do. I left.
*Do you have any recommendations from anyone to join the server?
I have not asked around, nor do I expect any players (besides maybe gobb or snowboard) to recommend me, I am not very well known, but I believe that I will be a positive addition to this server.
*Please, tell us why you want to join the server.
I want to join this server because every other server I have joined, including NOVSCRAFT, has slowly become a sea of inactivity, raging, and irresponsible users who make life annoying for everyone around them. I have a feeling that with this servers hand-picked players, this server will become a small, but entertaining community that offers a pleasant experience for all players.
I do not expect this to be accepted, but I do at least want a genuine chance at getting into an exclusive community of elites.
